Join us at Bear Creek Farm for a farm tour, hands-on planting, and gardening tips at our See & Sow event!

We’ll kick off the event with a guided tour of our farm, where you’ll get to see the spring flowers that are or will soon be blooming. As we stroll through the fields, we’ll share our favorite cool-season flowers, discuss the importance of succession planting for continuous blooms, and give you insider tips on how to grow a successful cut flower garden at home.

Afterwards, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get planting! Each participant will have the opportunity to plant a variety of seeds including zinnias, celosia, cosmos, basil, and sunflowers. You’ll leave with your own collection of warm-season annuals, ready to grow into your personal cut flower garden.

We’ll also talk about the flower that started it all for us here at Bear Creek Farm — the lisianthus. As a special treat, you’ll take home some lisianthus plugs to plant and nurture in your own garden.
